At The Physician Office



Please be sure to identify yourself as a Mercer FirstChoice member when making an appointment. Mercer FirstChoice appears on your health plan ID card to identify you as a Mercer FirstChoice participant. You should show your health plan ID card at your physician's office or hospital whenever you use healthcare services. It will assure that you receive the advantages of Mercer FirstChoice participation.

If your provider needs to refer you to a facility or another health care provider, remind the provider that you are part of the Mercer FirstChoice network and be sure the provider refers you to a participating provider when possible.

If you use a non-participating provider your benefits may be reduced.
